The Littlest Hobo

One of my first jobs in TV was as First Assistant Director for the remake of The Littlest Hobo. It’s a story about a dog, who in every episode, wanders into a new adventure, and becomes the hero of the story. The Littlest Hobo, a film that charmed in the early 1960s, was remade in Canada as a TV series in the early 1980’s with a Canadian crew utilizing a brand new technology - video. Hear my takeaway from that experience, and the theme that has followed me throughout my life and career.
